A six-week course designed to help you refine your throwing, trimming, and glazing skills while developing greater precision, consistency, and creativity on the pottery wheel.
Throughout the course, you'll focus on throwing taller, more refined forms, exploring new shapes such as donut forms, jars, and fitted lids, and experimenting with more in-depth glazing techniques to achieve unique finishes and results. Each week builds on foundational wheel-throwing skills while introducing new techniques to expand your ceramic toolkit and develop your personal style.
Skill level: Intermediate Requirements: Designed for students who have completed our Beginner Wheel six-week course or have equivalent experience. You should have a solid foundation in wheel throwing and be comfortable centering and throwing 1 to 2 pounds of clay, trimming your work, and glazing independently.
