Designed for absolute beginners and curious creatives alike, this course offers a welcoming introduction to the world of ceramics. Over six weeks, you’ll build confidence working with clay while learning foundational techniques in a supportive, hands-on studio environment.

Students will explore wheel throwing, hand-building, trimming, surface decoration, and the creation of functional details like handles, lids, and spouts. The final week focuses on glazing, where you’ll finish your pieces using your choice of studio glazes.

By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a collection of handmade work, a strong foundation in ceramics, and the skills to continue exploring clay independently.
