Discover the art of wheel throwing in this hands-on beginner workshop. Our instructors will guide you through the fundamentals with step-by-step demonstrations, then support you as you practice at the wheel and build your skills.
COST INCLUDES ALL MATERIALS, FIRINGS, AND GLAZING OF PIECES CREATED DURING CLASS - NO SURPRISE FEES OR ADD-ONS.
Whether you’re brand new to pottery or looking to refresh your skills before joining our 24hr Pottery community, this workshop is the perfect place to start. You’ll experience the calming, rewarding process of shaping clay on the wheel and see your creativity take form.
At the end of class, you’ll choose from a selection of studio glaze colors. We’ll handle the glazing and firing for you, and your finished pieces will be ready for pickup three weeks after the date of your class!
*Students must be 9 years or older to use the pottery wheels & have a participating (ticketed) adult accompanying. Students 15 years old+ are welcome to attend workshops independently.
**Please keep in mind, when you are first learning the wheel you can expect to make small bowls and then work your way into larger pieces with practice.
